NuImage Kitchens Bringing Imagination, Discovery and Creativity to Life…
Wow a fantastic night was had by all. I definitely consider it a huge success with over 120 guests coming along to share in the festivities for the grand opening of our new show room and the launch of our cooking school.
Executive Chef Gareth Collins served up simply delicious tastings, hot crusty bread for dipping into the Cobram estate olive oils and the spicy cashew nut dukkah served with marinated mixed rainbow olives.
Freshly made hummus dip, beetroot dip and white bean fava on the antipasto tastings served up on a 2 metre long timber chopping board complimented by a selection of salamis, cold meats and perperdews stuffed with Labana. YUM!
A constant delight was the platters full of Asian dumplings with spicy dipping sauce, bamboo steamer baskets filled to the brim with pork dim sum, prawns on silver forks served with secret seafood sauce then out came the Panna cotta goat cheese tartlets complimented by dried baby tomatoes and micro herbs. Vegetarian rice paper rolls with Vietnamese dipping sauce and brushetta topped with tomato salsa, buffalo mozzarella and baby bocconcini and finally meat balls with spicy sauce. Our guests were impressed!
A big hit of the night was the chocolate fountain, guests could be seen enjoying, laughing and giggling while dipping into the chocolate with strawberries, pineapple, rockmelon, marshmallows, licorice, and a selection of lollies on their skewers.
Deserts disappeared so fast! Layered chocolate mousse with fresh raspberry syrup in shot glasses, chocolate & nougatine tartlets, and impressive platter full of tropical fruits served on top of dry ice with that smoky steam effect gushing out!
On the Wine and cheese station we were enticed by fresh brie, camembert, Jarlsberg, aged vintage tasty and some delightfully tangy gorgonzola cheese. Gourmet crackers, Maggie Beer quince and fig paste, grapes, fruit log and apricots.
